About

The International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is an algorithmic programming contest for college students. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve the most real-world problems, fostering collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure. It is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world, featuring contestants from over 2,000 universities that are spread across 80 countries and six continents.

2023-2024 North America Championship

  • UCLA Stroopwafel (William Zhao, Kevin Sheng, and Xuanhao Cui) placed 24th.

2023-2024 Regionals

  • UCLA's teams placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 15th.
  • UCLA Stroopwafel (William Zhao, Kevin Sheng, and Xuanhao Cui) qualified for the North American Championship.

2022-2023 World Finals

  • UCLA Tortellini (Jason Liu, Nikil Roashan Selvam, and Rishi Sankar) competed in Luxor, Egypt.
  • Congratulations to Jason Liu, Nikil Roashan Selvam, and Rishi Sankar for their amazing performance at ICPC World Finals in Luxor, solving 5 problems and placing 52nd out of 130 teams.

2022-2023 North American Championship

  • UCLA Tortellini (Jason Liu, Nikil Roashan Selvam, and Rishi Sankar) placed 15th qualifying for the World Finals.
  • Congratulations to Jason Liu, Nikil Roashan Selvam, and Rishi Sankar for their first solve on problem G.

2022-2023 Regionals

  • UCLA's teams placed 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 14th, and 23rd.
  • UCLA Tortellini (Jason Liu, Nikil Roashan Selvam, and Rishi Sankar) qualified for the North American Championship.

2020-2021 World Finals

  • UCLA Ice-cream Sandwich (Lucas Xia, Jacob Zhang, and Arihant Jain) competed in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
  • Congratulations to Arihant Jain, Jacob Zhang, and Lucas Xia for their amazing performance at ICPC World Finals in Dhaka, solving 6 problems and placing 34th out of 132 teams.

2021-2022 Regionals

  • UCLA's teams placed 2nd, 4th, 8th, 9th, and 13th.
  • UCLA Lemon Meringue (Jacob Zhang, Arihant Jain, and Nikil Selvam) qualified for the North American Championship.

2020-2021 North American Championship

  • UCLA Ice-cream Sandwich (Lucas Xia, Jacob Zhang, and Arihant Jain) placed 17th qualifying for the World Finals.

2020-2021 North America Division Championships

  • UCLA's teams placed 3rd and 9th.
  • UCLA Ice-cream Sandwich (Lucas Xia, Jacob Zhang, and Arihant Jain) qualified for the North American Championship.

2020-2021 Regionals

  • UCLA's teams placed 2nd, 5th, 8th, 13th, and 15th.
  • UCLA Ice-cream Sandwich (Lucas Xia, Jacob Zhang, and Arihant Jain) and UCLA Gingerbread (Nikil Selvam, Justin Li, Ho Lyun Jeong), qualified for the North America Division Championships.
