About ICPC

The International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is an algorithmic programming contest for college students. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve the most real-world problems, fostering collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure.

It is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world, featuring contestants from over 2,000 universities across 80 countries and six continents.

2024-2025

North America Championship

  • UCLA Three Musketeers (Andy Polizzotto, Zhenting Zhu, and Harry Zhou) placed 4th, qualifying for the World Finals.
  • First solved Problem E.

  • UCLA's teams placed 1st, 3rd, 9th, 12th , 14th, 18th, 31th.
  • UCLA Three Musketeers qualified for the North American Championship.

2023-2024

North America Championship

  • UCLA Stroopwafel (William Zhao, Kevin Sheng, and Xuanhao Cui) placed 24th.

Regionals

  • UCLA's teams placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 15th.
  • UCLA Stroopwafel qualified for the North American Championship.

2022-2023

World Finals – Luxor, Egypt

  • UCLA Tortellini (Jason Liu, Nikil Roashan Selvam, and Rishi Sankar) solved 5 problems and placed 52nd out of 130 teams.

North America Championship

  • UCLA Tortellini placed 15th qualifying for the World Finals.
  • First solved Problem G

World Finals – Dhaka, Bangladesh

  • UCLA Ice-cream Sandwich (Lucas Xia, Jacob Zhang, and Arihant Jain) solved 6 problems, placing 34th out of 132 teams

North America Championship

  • UCLA Ice-cream Sandwich placed 17th, qualifying for the World Finals.

North America Division Championships

  • UCLA's teams placed 3rd and 9th.
  • UCLA Ice-cream Sandwich qualified for the North American Championship.
